Singapore Primary Care Conference 2026 (Day 1)

Published On: May 15, 2026

Day 1 of the Singapore Primary Care Conference 2026 (SPCC 2026) brought together family physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, educators and healthcare partners across Singapore with a shared commitment to build a stronger, more sustainable and resilient primary care system for our population.

Organised by SingHealth Polyclinics, NHG Polyclinics, National University Polyclinics and the College of Family Physicians Singapore, SPCC 2026 centres on the theme:
“Sustainable & Resilient Primary Care: Identity • Innovate • Integrate • Impact.”

From sustainable healthcare financing and future-ready care models to AI, climate resilience and population health, the plenary sessions highlighted one clear message: strong primary care is the foundation of a healthier and more sustainable Singapore.

In his opening address, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Ong Ye Kung emphasised that the future of healthcare lies not only in hospitals, but in prevention, community partnerships and trusted long-term relationships built through primary care.

This year’s SPCC is especially meaningful as it is the first since Family Medicine was formally recognised as a medical specialty in Singapore — a significant milestone for the profession and for the future of primary care.

Together, we continue to strengthen primary care — for our patients, our communities and our nation.
