The CFPS College Mace is a ceremonial symbol of the College’s authority, heritage, and continuity, carried at key College occasions such as formal convocations and major events.

The Installation of the College Mace took place on 4 November 2007, held in memory of Dr Wong Heck Sing (1923–2007)—remembered as “a leader, practitioner and role model of Family Medicine for all times.” The mace was presented during the World WONCA Congress (Singapore 2007), with the presentation delivered by Dr Tan See Leng, then Chairman of the Organising Committee.

This installation serves as both a tribute to Dr Wong’s lasting legacy in family medicine and a tangible reminder of the College’s mission and traditions.
