TEACHING  

   

·          Family Medicine courses organised by the College of Family Physicians Singapore.

 

   

·          Each fellow trainee must participate and log teaching as chairman/speaker/tutor in at least 10 sessions in the course of the FMFP (excluding FMFP activities)

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Complete one research and/or an approved project which contributes to the advancement of Family Medicine within the 2 years. The scope of this activity shall be decided upon at the beginning of the 2-year period.

 

One research project and/or approved project relevant to Family Medicine completed in the two-year period.

ASSESSMENT (6 monthly)

* Monthly Fellowship Meetings

Fellowship Trainees shall meet at least once each month. Each session should last a minimum of 1 hour.  Each Fellowship Trainee must attend at least 75% of these sessions. Fellowship Trainees are required to present cases and review topics.  These sessions could also be used for other training activities (e.g., planning of research projects).

 

 

** Log Book and Summative Assessment

The logbook will be discussed at the Summative Assessment. The logbook must be submitted to the Censors’ Board at least 30 days before the summative assessment date.  Failure to comply or maintain a satisfactory log will result in the candidate being barred from the summative assessment.

 

A certified copy of the log book will be kept in the College's library.
